Charts can be purchased only if you have navigation software installed. PC cartography is available in NT+ format (NT+/PC)or MAX format (MAX/PC). Customers can purchase Chart Licences online by using a credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or a prepaid voucher.

closeTo backup your licences you have to: - click on the Settings button on the left (hammer shaped icon) - insert a floppy disk or any other media and click on Backup Registration Information

closeThe backup is necessary in order to keep a record of the purchased charts, in case you suffer a computer crash, damage or loss. It is therefore advisable to do the backup on a floppy disk or on another media any time you complete a purchase. This process will allow you to restore the charts or to copy them on to a second PC.

closeLicenses can be reinstalled in two ways: 1. if a backup has been done just reinstall C-Map NT/PC (same version of the original purchase), click on RESTORE in the Settings page inserting the floppy (or other used media) with the backup file.   2. if a backup has not been done write the licence manually in the following way: empty the Shopping Cart, select again the chart's code, click on Buy Selected Chart, click on Insert Chart Licence, insert the unlock code and click on Register

The current C-Map NT/PC Chart Selector is fully compatible with Vista.  Version 11 onwards is compatible with 32 bit versions of Vista only and previous versions are not with either version.

closeThe Maxesa dongle has not registered your charts to somebody else but has its own internal ID number meaning that the C-Map NT/PC Chart Selector recognizes it as a blank dongle and it inizializes it with the hardware ID of the PC on which the chart's purchase has been done. Therefore it's probable that several end users can have the same hardare ID. The only way to modify the data is through the Callcentre where we shall be happy to assist in this matter.
