C-MAP has announced its second major North American chart update of 2025.
This latest update enhances our DISCOVER®, REVEAL®, and X Generation charts, available exclusively on Lowrance®, Simrad®, and B&G® chartplotters. C-MAP has reprocessed data for over 500 lakes across the U.S. and Canada including the Great Lakes, significantly improving the Shaded Relief and High-Resolution Bathymetry layers. Additionally, coastal areas have seen major enhancements to High-Resolution Bathymetry and Shaded Relief layers, including the U.S. and Canadian East Coasts, the Canadian West Coast, and both the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts of Florida.
Notably, 512 new lakes that have been improved using proprietary C-Map surveys, ultra-high-resolution LIDAR, multi and single beam surveys and crowdsourced C-MAP Genesis data. Among these, 116 lakes are in New Jersey, 72 lakes in Vermont and 49 lakes in Indiana.
The new data improves the DISCOVER®, REVEAL® and X Generation charts from C-MAP and is available now to purchase.
Updates for North American and Canada charts include:
- 512 Lakes reprocessed (majority in US, some in Canada).
- Coastal areas in US and Canada improved in Shaded Relief and HRB.
- Great Lakes improved both on Canada and US side.
- Raster Charts layer removed from North American SKUs in 4D and Reveal.
Shaded Relief and Satellite imagery are exclusive to C-MAP Reveal and Reveal X and are available on a range of chartplotters from the Lowrance®, Simrad® & B&G® brands. You can view the latest charts for your location online at c-map.com/chartexplorer.
